Overview#
Search & Filter keeps large knowledge bases manageable by narrowing results to the content you need. Combine keyword search with folder, status, or type filters to investigate sources quickly.
When to Use It#
- Auditing existing sources before training an agent
- Locating a specific document or text entry among dozens of uploads
- Checking the ingestion status of recent uploads without scrolling the full list

How to Use#
- Go to the Knowledge Base tab where your sources are listed.
- Enter a keyword in the search bar to match titles.
- Use the filter dropdowns to narrow results by folder, status, or type.
- Combine multiple selectors to refine the list further.
- Click

(or remove selections) to return to the full dataset.
Notes & Tips#
- Searches are case-insensitive;

return the same results. - Filter selections persist while you remain on the page—clear them before leaving if you expect the default view next time.

FAQ#
Does the search include source content?#
Currently it matches against titles and metadata. Inspect the source detail to review full content.
Can I export filtered results?#
Exports operate on the full dataset today. Capture screenshots or notes if you need a filtered snapshot.
Why is my new upload missing from search?#
Give the system a moment to index the source, then refresh the page and try again.
